Trusted leaders in HEALING
to Support Your Mind, Body, and Soul
“All life is interrelated, and we are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. ... I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. And you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be-this is the interrelated structure of reality."
-Dr. Martin Luther King

Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche
I feel incredibly fortunate to have taken refuge in-person with Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche in 2024. He is a true meditation master, and I am filled with boundless gratitude for the teachings he has shared. His light-hearted energy and welcoming presence create an atmosphere of warmth and openness. While I haven’t spent extensive time with him personally, I deeply appreciate his profound impact on the community and his tireless efforts toward world peace. His wisdom and kindness have left a lasting impression, for which I am deeply thankful.
Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche is part of the lineage at Kagyu Samye Dzong Buddhist Centre. Through his guidance, the teachers there have been able to share the Buddha’s teachings with me. I am thankful to be part of this sacred tradition, which has enriched my life and allowed me to explore how to cultivate inner peace. His dedication to preserving and passing down these teachings is a gift to all.
About Venerable Lama Yeshe Losal

His unwavering dedication to preserving and passing down these teachings is a gift to all who seek wisdom and peace. -
Lama Gelongma Zangmo
In 2012, I found myself at a crossroads. My work-life was overwhelming, and I needed a fresh start. That’s when I discovered Kagyu Samye Dzong, the Tibetan Buddhist Centre for World Peace and Health in London. It quickly became my sanctuary, a place to reconnect and explore the teachings of the Buddha.
In 2014, life took a sudden turn when I became the primary caregiver to my older brother in Japan after he suffered a debilitating brain aneurysm. It was a time of immense fear. As he recovered and returned to America, I realised I needed to strengthen my practice to overcome my newfound fears of death and suffering. That’s when I began studying with Lama Zangmo. Her teachings became a lifeline, offering wisdom and peace when I needed it most.
The Buddhist teachings and meditation techniques I learned at Kagyu Samye Dzong helped me through some of my darkest moments, including a life-threatening health crisis in 2022. I truly believe these teachings can save lives.
Key teachings that shaped my path:
2014: Intro to Meditation
2015: Intro to Meditation (8 sessions)
2015: Intro to Calm Abiding (4 sessions)
2019: Meaning of Taking Refuge (4 sessions)
2020: Seven Points of Mind Training (10 sessions)
2021: Impermanence, Death, and Dying (8 sessions)
2021: The Four Dharmas of Gampopa (4 sessions)Lama Zangmo’s guidance has taught me to take refuge within myself, a lesson that has stayed with me through all of life’s challenges. For that, I am deeply grateful.
About Lama Gelongma Zangmo
Lama Zangmo became a practicing Buddhist in 1977, taking refuge with His Holiness the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, at Kagyu Samye Ling. After receiving teachings from many respected lamas, she entered a four-year closed retreat in 1984 and was ordained as a Buddhist nun, dedicating her life to the practice and teachings of Buddhism. -

Pelvic surgery RECOVERY
I believe that ALL women should work directly with a pelvic floor therapist after having a baby. It doesn’t matter if you had a C-section or not. It also doesn’t matter if its been years since you had your baby. You can start where you are. Our bodies don’t just pop back, it takes work!
All too often our standards of wellness become set in their ways but, its okay to be open about your weak pelvic floor problems, chronic pains, or post surgery difficulties. You can demand and work towards a better standard for yourself so that you can thrive.
I worked with Dr. Jocelyn for 3 months on an intensive journey that really changed the way I think about my body. She gave me courage to do more and gently pushed me to become stronger. She was inquisitive, supportive and I felt she was right there with me even though we worked from different time zones. No topic was left undiscussed with deep kindness and respect. Her non-judgmental openness and encouragement is the icing on the cake. Together we built goals. She taught me tools and exercises that I will use for years to come.
Dr Jocelyn Wallice is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Integrative Dry Needling Practicioner, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Training, and Precision Nutrition Coach

Yoga foundations and Cancer Care
There are a lot of types of yoga. But, when I walked into Bindie Edward’s Gentle Yoga class I was hooked. I had been recovering from a traumatic birth event and I was looking for any way to reclaim parts of myself again after giving birth and becoming a mother for the second time. I know that she had no idea just how much her teachings helped but they did. Bindie’s class was the beginning of so much more for me. Her dedicated approach to science and anatomy paired with her kind-hearted nature is absolutely transformative. I hope she will forever keep me as a student and I consider her my ‘heart’ teacher as she was a major player in my path to service in the wellness industry.
With over 40 years of personal practice and 14 years of teaching, her approach to yoga is grounded in compassion and a genuine desire to support her students’ well-being.

Somatic Movement & Mind-Body-Centering
I completed a 9-month "Embodied Anatomy and Yoga Immersion" course with Lisa Petersen. Her approach and process are profoundly deep, offering gifts that continue to give long after the course. It is from her teachings that I found deeper liberation and embodiment that I didn’t even know that I needed. I truly appreciate the care and mindful insight she brings to each lesson. Her work is both beautiful and powerful. Lisa rekindled a sense of playfulness and joy in me that I will never forget.
Based in Ireland, Lisa has over a decade of teaching experience and holds a BSc (Hons) in Communications. She is known for her clarity, presence, humor, and passion. Lisa offers workshops and Advanced Teacher Training in Yoga, Somatics, and Embodied Anatomy internationally. SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY
Susie is the current Voice Lead at West Suffolk Hospital. I can tell you first hand that she helped me find my voice. Together we worked to heal a lump that was on my vocal cords (post intubation) in ICU. It was our intention to manage it as I waited for surgery. I can tell you that her exercises not only work; they heal. I did a various things to heal this issue as well as Susie’s exercises I was also doing yoga, meditation and visualisation and EMDR. I consider the healing of this problem to be miraculous and so did the hospital. I say this because when I went under for surgery, the doctors were absolutely stunned and shocked to find that the lump they saw weeks earlier that was getting bigger by the day had 100% resolved itself. Left without a trace!
She helps adults with through education and therapy that enables them to improve their voice quality, maintain a healthy voice, and prevent problems recurring, so that they can enjoy fully expressing themselves again.

Yoga teacher training
I trained personally with Catherine Annis and Gary Carter (as well as others) on the Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training 200hr Yoga Alliance Professionals course. This experience recaptured a deeper calling for myself to teach. She provided space to grow and gave me courage to get over my doubts. This made a huge impact on my life and teaching capabilities. I know I am a better daughter, mother and wife due to the connections I made back to myself whilst studying here. Catherine is a wonderful, bright, and strong teacher.
She taught us to prioritise individual body needs in a practical and approachable way. This is a lesson I will take with me forever.
Catherine Annis is well known for her imaginative and practical approach to yoga. In 2017 she created the Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training Course (iytt), a 12 month, anatomically focused teacher training course with world-leading teachers including Gary Carter.
Originally a professional dancer, she discovered yoga as a teenager, and has been practicing since the mid 1970s. Having studied various styles of yoga including Sivananda, Iyengar, Astanga and various forms of Hatha yoga, she eventually gravitated to the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.

breathwork techniques
So, in this instance I did not work directly with James in-person or live online. I took James Nestor’s pre-recorded online course ‘The Power of Your Breath’ via the BBC Maestro app. It was a 20 lesson course that I found extremely informative with helpful accessible tips to cultivate healthier daily wellness. He does well to explain the science of how and why it his techniques are useful. I often refer this course to men who are looking for a way into wellness without the spiritual stuff. I find his style of teaching online to be authentic and scientifically driven through research.
James is the New York Times bestselling author of Breath.

QiGong, fascia & anatomy
I was lucky to have Gary Carter on the teaching staff for my Yoga Teacher Training with IYTT where he shared his expertise in anatomy, body movement, and ground-breaking Fascia research. Gary shares comprehensive knowledge through images and exporation in body movement. His approach is like no other I’ve seen. His passion is palpable, and I resonated with his teaching style as we both come from a ‘visual designer’s’ prospective. I also took Qigong classes with Gary that I really enjoyed.
Gary has over 30 years of experience in movement physical training, anatomical study and bodywork practices. With a background in athletics, competition cycling, bodybuilding, martial arts, yoga and manual therapies, he himself has studied with many inspiring teachers, trainers and masters in their fields. From this background he created his own unique way of working and ‘seeing’ which he incorporates into his teachings.

Qigong and internal martial arts
I recently took a day retreat in London with Mimi Kuo-Deemer called “Emptiness and Form”, where she offered a beautiful blend of Qigong forms and meditation, hosted by London Insight. The experience felt like the perfect balance I’ve been seeking in my own self-practice—one that weaves together meditation, mindful movement, and yoga.
Mimi’s energy, along with the insights she shared—both on the Dharma and the practice of Qigong—were deeply inspiring. Her presence and teaching style left a lasting impression, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn from her.
I’ve also been enjoying a couple of her books and recently completed her online course via Commune, Qigong: The 18 Forms – A Moving Meditation for Health and Vitality. It’s clear I still have so much more to explore and absorb from her teachings.
What I find especially powerful is her approach to movement—paired with meditation—which feels profoundly nourishing, balancing, and deeply grounding.
Mimi Kuo-Deemer, MA, is the author of Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis: Nourishing Practices for Body, Mind and Spirit and Xiu Yang: The Ancient Chinese Art of Self-Cultivation. She teaches meditation, Qigong, and internal martial arts, and is a 6th-generation lineage holder in Baguazhang.

Pelvic Floor Therapy
I worked with Amanda Fisher (founder of Empower Your Pelvis) after my first C-section. We did a live online class and it was indeed empowering. She is based in the states but does offer online courses. This was brilliant after my first child was born although I needed more 1:1 daily accountability and training after my second baby and hysterectomy which is where I found Dr Jocelyn above.
Amanda is warm and inviting with an energetic spirit that is contagious. Empower Your Pelvis offers a holistic approach in treatment to help you retrain tissue to care for you, your family, perform your daily household activities, your work function, safely return to exercise, and live without pain or dysfunction. Every person deserves this type of care provided by Empower Your Pelvis.

Charlie Morley - lucid dreaming
I was lucky to visit London and listen to Charlie’s lecture on Death and Dying. His teachings provided tools I will carry with me and have passed down to my children. We did a profound meditation that later freed me from some past sufferings. He is a highly skilled facilitator with a bright and joyous energy. I am currently working my way through he 7 week lucid dreaming program but I am taking my time with this alongside my other studies and work.

Anodea judith - Chakra and Subtle energy Expert
I have not worked directly with Anodea, I took her online course called “The Chakra System, A complete course in Self-Diagnosis and Healing“ and I would recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the chakras. I found her teachings to be wise, accessible, and thought provoking. I also have a few of her books which have been an inspiration for my own self-practice. Here best-selling book called Eastern Mind Western Body” is a guiding inspiration. It is like a bible for a western understanding of the chakras.
Anodea Judith Ph.D. has been called a “prophet for our time.” A globally recognized teacher, speaker, healer, and writer on the intersection of personal and collective awakening, her passion for the realization of our potential matches her concern for humanity’s impending crises—her fervent wish that we “wake up in time.”
She holds Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Psychology and Health, is a Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (500 hour E-RYT), and therapist with lifelong studies in somatic psychology, mythology, history, sociology, systems theory, and mystic spirituality.
She is best known for her groundbreaking work reviving the chakra system of ancient yoga, and it’s profound correlation to human psychology, cultural evolution, and the downward process of manifestation.
Her best-selling books have gained worldwide recognition with over a million books in print in 18 languages, and won several awards.

paul lambillion -aura readings
Paul Lambillion was born in Islington, London in 1945. He had a natural deep inner vision as a child which was seldom understood by his elders. He was able to see the energy patterns around trees, animals and people quite clearly as a young boy, frequently predicting changes well before they occurred. Gradually, he suppressed this ability until he was struck by lightning at the age of seventeen. Then the vision grew even more powerful.Whilst coming to terms with physical and other serious challenges in his thirties, Paul experienced a profound spiritual awakening.
A major manifestation of this period was the unfoldment of his gift as a channel for healing and his ability to help those suffering from ill-health, anxiety, despair and feelings of hopelessness.
I visited Paul for a 1:1 aura reading and council session where he helped me to realise my path through his encouragement and gentle-hearted wisdom. Just a very lovely person.

Alistair Appleton - Help for stress and anxiety
Alistair kindly offered his course to me at a time of great need whilst I was suffering from anxiety after a traumatic event. If you dont know where to start I would recomend his two courses “Mastering the Monsters of Anxiety” as well as “Transforming the Trigger Thought”. I loved how he offered tools that helped to transform how I think about my thoughts. Even the simple yet powerful realisation that ‘thoughts are just thoughts’ can be liberating in itself. Some of his teachings were inspired by ACT therapy, AIT therapy, and others . I still use many of these tools today. I am grateful for his work and generosity.
Alistair is the founder of Mindsprings which was set up in 2005 to explore the uses and benefits of meditation in the modern world.
Much of his clinical research around meditation concentrates on working with addiction and depression. But at Mindsprings the focus is working with wellness and the promotion of mental health before the “illness” and pathology set in.

Claire Yates - EMDR for HEALING TRAUMA
Claire was my Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. This was a treatment I knew nothing about until I needed it. After a near-death experience I was diagnosed with complex PTSD. I now am cured of the anxieties and feelings that stopped me from living my life more fully, and have my EMDR therapist to thank as part of this journey.
I was blessed that the NHS sent me to Claire. She works with individuals from all areas of trauma including firefighters and emergency workers that experience trauma daily. If you have had a traumatic experience (most of us do at least 8 times in our lives or more) and need help then ‘talking therapy’ is not always the answer. I highly recommend her services as an alternative solution to CBT.
