Trusted leaders in Healing

to Support Your Mind, Body, and Soul

“All life is interrelated, and we are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. ... I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. And you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be-this is the interrelated structure of reality."

-Dr. Martin Luther King

NOTE: There are countless healers and helpers in the world. These are the experts that I’ve worked with directly either
in-person or live-online (unless specified otherwise). Throughout my life, when I needed help I didn’t always know where to turn. The following leaders have all played a roll of guidance for me. My deepest gratitude to them and their work. I believe that when you're facing an issue you can’t resolve on your own, we have each other. There are teachers with expertise to help. Life has a way of bringing people into our lives, and there is no mistake in these connections—especially if you're seeking with wholehearted curiosity. Together, we lift each other up!

With Love, Lindsey

MEDITATION & mindfulness

  • Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche

I found myself extremely fortunate to take refuge with Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche in 2024. I have boundless gratitude for the teachings he has shared. He has a light-hearted energy that allows for a welcoming atmosphere. A beautiful individual.

Venerable Lama Yeshe Losal was born in 1943 in Kham, East Tibet. He spent his formative years in education at Dolma Lhakang Monastery where his brother Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche was Abbot. After escaping from Tibet in 1959, Lama Yeshe continued his education at the Young Lamas Home School in Dalhousie, India before leaving in 1967 to serve as Private Secretary to His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, at Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim. Despite his heartfelt wish to remain in retreat for twenty years, towards the end of 1991 Lama Yeshe was asked to take responsibility for the running of Kagyu Samye Ling and the Holy Island Project which he consented to do and took on with characteristic vigour and determination.

  • Lama Gelongma Zangmo

It was well over 10 years ago when I found myself in an Intro to Meditation course at Kagyu Samye Dzong London. This site became a sanctuary for me at time where I needed to recover from grief and trauma. Whilst living in London it was a place for weekly refuge. Beautifuly open to the public offering a rich wealth of Tibetan Buddhist Teachings. I’ve taken many courses with Lama Zagmo in-person and also online during covid. Learning here has been invaluable and transformative.

Lama Gelongma Zangmo first became a practising Buddhist when she arrived at Kagyu Samye Ling in 1977 and took refuge with His Holiness the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje. Having received teachings from many highly respected lamas who visited Kagyu Samye Ling, she was inspired to enter the four-year closed retreat in 1984, during which time she became ordained as a Buddhist nun.

  • Gelong Thubten

I was fortunate to sit and listen to Gelong’s lecture whilst he was visiting Kagyu Samye Dzong, London. I found his teaching style to be versatile, open-hearted and accessible. A memorable experience although brief.

Gelong Thubten is a Buddhist monk, meditation teacher and author. He became a monk more than 30 years ago and has spent over six years in isolated retreats, including one which lasted for four years. He is regarded as one of the UK’s most influential meditation teachers, working with corporations, schools, hospitals, prisons and rehab centres. He has lectured at Oxford University and for large organisations such as Google and The United Nations. Thubten is Director of Kagyu Samye Dzong Scarborough, Yorkshire. He is a Trustee of ROKPA International, an international humanitarian aid organisation with medical, education and cultural projects in some of the world's poorest regions. He is also a Director of Samye Foundation Wales, a mindfulness and wellbeing charity.

Thubten is the author of the Sunday Times bestseller ‘A Monk’s Guide to Happiness’ and ‘Handbook for Hard Times’.

  • Alistair Appleton

Alistair kindly offered his course to me at a time of great need whilst I was suffering from anxiety after a traumatic event. If you dont know where to start I would recomend his two courses “Mastering the Monsters of Anxiety” as well as “Transforming the Trigger Thought”. I loved how he offered tools that helped to transform how I think about my thoughts. Even the simple yet powerful realisation that ‘thoughts are just thoughts’ can be liberating in itself. Some of his teachings were inspired by ACT therapy, AIT therapy, and others . I still use many of these tools today. I am grateful for his work and generosity.

Alistair is the founder of Mindsprings which was set up in 2005 to explore the uses and benefits of meditation in the modern world.

Much of his clinical research around meditation concentrates on working with addiction and depression. But at Mindsprings the focus is working with wellness and the promotion of mental health before the “illness” and pathology set in.

Bodywork & Mindful Movement

  • Pelvic surgery RECOVERY

I believe that ALL women should work directly with a pelvic floor therapist after having a baby. It doesn’t matter if you had a C-section or not. It also doesn’t matter if its been years since you had your baby. You can start where you are. Our bodies don’t just pop back, it takes work!

I worked with Dr. Jocelyn for 3 months on an intensive journey that really changed the way I think about my body. She was inquisitive, supportive and I felt she was right there with me even though we worked from different time zones. No topic was left undiscussed with deep kindness and respect. Her non-judgmental openness and encouragement is the icing on the cake. Together we built goals. She taught me tools and exercises that I will use for years to come.

Dr Jocelyn Wallice is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Integrative Dry Needling Practicioner, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Training, and Precision Nutrition Coach

There are a lot of types of yoga. But, when I walked into the studio to learn from Bindie Edwards I was hooked. Her dedicated approach to science and anatomy paired with her kind-hearted nature is absolutely transformative. I hope she will forever keep me as a student and I consider her my ‘heart’ teacher as she was a major player in my path to service in the wellness industry.

With over 40 years of personal practice and 14 years of teaching, her approach to yoga is grounded in compassion and a genuine desire to support her students’ well-being.

  • SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY

Susie is the current Voice Lead at West Suffolk Hospital. I can tell you first hand that she helped me find my voice. Together we worked to heal a lump that was on my vocal cords (post intubation) in ICU. I can tell you that her exercises not only work; they heal. I did a various things to heal this issue and I consider the healing of this problem to be miraculous. I say this because when I went under for surgery, the doctors were absolutely stunned and shocked to find that the lump had 100% resolved itself. Left without a trace!

She helps adults with through education and therapy that enables them to improve their voice quality, maintain a healthy voice, and prevent problems recurring, so that they can enjoy fully expressing themselves again.

  • Yoga teacher training

I trained personally with Catherine Annis and Gary Carter (as well as others) on the Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training course. This experience made a huge impact on my life and teaching capabilities. Catherine is a wonderful, bright, and strong teacher.

Catherine Annis is well known for her imaginative and practical approach to yoga. In 2017 she created the Intelligent Yoga Teacher Training Course (iytt), a 12 month, anatomically focused teacher training course with world-leading teachers including Gary Carter.

Originally a professional dancer, she discovered yoga as a teenager, and has been  practicing since the mid 1970s.  Having studied various styles of yoga including Sivananda, Iyengar, Astanga and various forms of Hatha yoga, she eventually gravitated to the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.

  • breathwork techniques

So, in this instance I did not work directly with James in-person or live online. I took James Nestor’s pre-recorded online course ‘The Power of Your Breath’ via the BBC Maestro app. It was a 20 lesson course that I found extremely informative with helpful accessible tips to cultivate healthier daily wellness. He does well to explain the science of how and why it his techniques are useful. I often refer this course to men who are looking for a way into wellness without the spiritual stuff. I find his style of teaching online to be authentic and scientifically driven through research.

James is the New York Times bestselling author of Breath.

  • QiGong, fascia & anatomy

I was lucky to have Gary Carter on the teaching staff for my Yoga Teacher Training with IYTT where he shared his expertise in anatomy, body movement, and ground-breaking Fascia research. Gary shares comprehensive knowledge through images and exporation in body movement. His approach is like no other I’ve seen. His passion is palpable, and I resonated with his teaching style as we both come from a ‘visual designer’s’ prospective. I also took Qigong classes with Gary that I really enjoyed.

Gary has over 30 years of experience in movement physical training, anatomical study and bodywork practices. With a background in athletics, competition cycling, bodybuilding, martial arts, yoga and manual therapies, he himself has studied with many inspiring teachers, trainers and masters in their fields. From this background he created his own unique way of working and ‘seeing’ which he incorporates into his teachings.

  • Pelvic Floor Therapy

I worked with Amanda Fisher (founder of Empower Your Pelvis) after my first C-section. We did a live online class and it was indeed empowering. She is based in the states but does offer online courses. This was brilliant after my first child was born although I needed more 1:1 daily accountability and training after my second baby and hysterectomy which is where I found Dr Jocelyn above.

Empower Your Pelvis offers a holistic approach in treatment to help you retrain tissue to care for you, your family, perform your daily household activities, your work function, safely return to exercise, and live without pain or dysfunction. Every person deserves this type of care provided by Empower Your Pelvis.

  • EMDR - HEALING TRAUMA

Claire was my Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. This was a treatment I knew nothing about until I needed it. After a near-death experience I was diagnosed with complex PTSD. I now am cured of the anxieties and feelings that stopped me from living my life more fully, and have my EMDR therapist to thank as part of this journey.

I was blessed that the NHS sent me to Claire. She works with individuals from all areas of trauma including firefighters and emergency workers that experience trauma daily. If you have had a traumatic experience (most of us do at least 8 times in our lives or more) and need help then ‘talking therapy’ is not always the answer. I highly recommend her services as an alternative solution to CBT.

  • Carole Baker yoga teacher founder of The Self Centre

It was at the Self Centre where I found my teacher Bindie and later met Carole as well. It is the largest Wellbeing Centre in East Anglia. Carole sold the centre in 2015  to Abbeycroft Leisure ( a Social Enterprise) and now  offers  private 1:1 and small group yoga sessions and Wellness Workshops.

  • Qigong and internal martial arts

I have not worked directly with Mimi Kuo-Deemer, however I did take her online course via Commune which was called ‘Qigong: The 18 forms, A moving meditation for health and vitality.’ I know I have so much more to learn from her. I hope to work with her soon as I am booked to visit her in-person at the “Emptiness and Form – A Qigong and Meditation Daylong Retreat” at London Insight Meditation.

I find her approach to movement paired with meditation to be profoundly deep, nourishing, and balancing.

Mimi Kuo-Deemer, MA, is the author of Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis: Nourishing Practices for Body, Mind and Spirit and Xiu Yang: The Ancient Chinese Art of Self-Cultivation. She teaches meditation, qigong, and internal martial arts (6th generation lineage holder in Baguazhang).

Sound, Nature, spirituality, ecology, dreaming, energy healing and chakras

  • Jenna Gooding - Sound and nature healing

I really cant say enough good things about Jenna. I am so grateful to have her in my community. She is a Therapeutic Gong Practitioner, Soul guide, Wild Earth and Bone woman, Hearth keeper, and Writer. My experiences in her gongspace have been profoundly impactful to the choices I have made and in discovering a deeper and aligned path for myself. Words cannot describe this beautiful soul.

  • Charlie Morley - lucid dreaming

I was lucky to visit London and listen to Charlie’s lecture on Death and Dying. His teachings provided tools I will carry with me and have passed down to my children. We did a profound meditation that later freed me from some past sufferings. He is a highly skilled facilitator with a bright and joyous energy.

Charlie Morley is a bestselling author and teacher of lucid dreaming, shadow work and Mindfulness of Dream & Sleep.

Charlie formally became a Buddhist at the age of 19 and lived at the Kagyu Samye Dzong Buddhist Centre for 7 years. Since then he has written four books which have been translated into over 15 languages and has run workshops & retreats in more than 20 countries. In 2018 he was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship to research PTSD treatment in military veterans and continues to teach workshops for people with trauma affected sleep. These teachings form the core of his latest book Wake Up to Sleep.

  • Anodea judith

I have not worked directly with Anodea, I took her online course called “The Chakra System, A complete course in Self-Diagnosis and Healing“ and I would recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the chakras. I found her teachings to be wise, accessible, and thought provoking. I also have a few of her books which have been an inspiration for my own self-practice.

Anodea Judith Ph.D. has been called a “prophet for our time.” A globally recognized teacher, speaker, healer, and writer on the intersection of personal and collective awakening, her passion for the realization of our potential matches her concern for humanity’s impending crises—her fervent wish that we “wake up in time.”

She holds Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Psychology and Health, is a Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (500 hour E-RYT), and therapist with lifelong studies in somatic psychology, mythology, history, sociology, systems theory, and mystic spirituality.

She is best known for her groundbreaking work reviving the chakra system of ancient yoga, and it’s profound correlation to human psychology, cultural evolution, and the downward process of manifestation.

Her best-selling books have gained worldwide recognition with over a million books in print in 18 languages, and won several awards.

  • paul lambillion -aura readings

Paul Lambillion was born in Islington, London in 1945. He had a natural deep inner vision as a child which was seldom understood by his elders. He was able to see the energy patterns around trees, animals and people quite clearly as a young boy, frequently predicting changes well before they occurred. Gradually, he suppressed this ability until he was struck by lightning at the age of seventeen. Then the vision grew even more powerful.Whilst coming to terms with physical and other serious challenges in his thirties, Paul experienced a profound spiritual awakening.

A major manifestation of this period was the unfoldment of his gift as a channel for healing and his ability to help those suffering from ill-health, anxiety, despair and feelings of hopelessness.

I visited Paul for a 1:1 aura reading and council session where he helped me to realise my path through his encouragement and gentle-hearted wisdom. Just a very lovely person.
