Q: what SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY YOGA PRACTICE?

A: concentration, letting go, and playfulness

- Vanda Scaravelli
This above Q&A quote is from Vanda Scaravelli who is known for her contribution to the practice of yoga in the West. She learnt yoga as an early student of two of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya's pupils, B. K. S. Iyengar who taught her the asanas, and T. K. V. Desikachar who taught her pranayama. I hope to provide such a service to my fellow practitioners. Vanda is one of many teachers that have informed Lindsey’s practice.

“try to Take a moment of mindfulness every 15-20 minutes. everyday.”

quote of the SEASON

- Choje Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche
from his book called ‘Finding Peace’.
Pictured right.

Based on Lindsey’s (owner of Litttle Spoonful) direct understanding from visiting Kagyu Samye Dzong London, Lama Yeshe believes that taking ‘a moment’ to practice mindfulness throughout the day could be a 5 second or 5 minute moment. It’s up to you. Try walking slower, going outside to look at the details of nature, or simply pausing to take a breath and just be before walking into your next meeting.
